Pink Fire Pointer Missed Opportunity

Missed Opportunity

It was very dark, I was wet through from the rain and it had been a long days travel carrying a fairly full rucksack and dragging my cricket bag, which was doing a sterling job as a suitcase.

I knocked and waited for my friend to answer. When the unfamiliar middle aged man opened the door it was quite clear I had the wrong house. The chap obviously didn't know me from Adam and instead of saying "Sorry, I've got the wrong address" I had an overwhelming urge to say "Hello, Dad. Remember me?"

Missed opportunity.
